What it is

It is a retreat in daily life, divided into weeks. Each week brings a text and the work on it: the long reading on Sunday, and then the repetition, a master, Scripture, an exercise, the going out into the world, and the review.

The day is a schedule, never a gatekeeper: nothing locks, nothing expires, and whoever missed a day does not find a list of arrears on returning. If today has no piece, the week opens at the last day that has already passed.

What the subscription opens

• The course — the modules of the retreat in daily life.

There are two artificial intelligences here, and both present themselves as what they are. One quotes what has already been written and falls silent when it has no source; the other answers with no language model at all, only with what this app has published. Neither one tells you what you are living, judges your progress, or speaks in God's name.

What is not charged for, and never will be

• The homilies, open to anyone, with no sign-in and no payment. Preaching is free by its own nature.
• Your calendar and the reminders you set.
• Your internal forum — the journal, the examen, the notes, the review of the week and the rereading. That is yours. An expired subscription does not lock your own history outside.
• Your parish's schedule.

The account comes before the payment, on purpose: that way the email of the purchase is the same as the email of the account, and access opens by itself when the payment is confirmed. Paying first is the road that makes the money arrive under one email and the access sit under another.

• It opens as soon as the payment is confirmed. There is no manual approval in between: once the payment is confirmed, whatever the subscription opens shows up in the menu.
• It closes by itself at the end of the paid period. Nothing stays open by oversight, and nothing is charged by forgetfulness.
• You leave with one click, in your account, with no form and without having to explain why. Canceling does not erase what you already paid for: the reading continues until the end of the period.

If you cannot pay

There are scholarships — for seminarians and for anyone who cannot pay. It is not a favor and not an exception: it is written into this app's Rule, article IX. Write and say so, and that is all.

What you write is yours

The internal forum — the journal, the examen, the notes — is encrypted on your own device, with a password only you hold and that this server never sees. The author does not read what you write: not as a promise, but because he has no way to. The trade-off is hard and it is stated on every screen: losing that password means losing the text, and there is no recovery.
