Withdrawal — 7 days
You can withdraw from the purchase within 7 calendar days, with no reason and no penalty. This is article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
The right
Every purchase made outside a place of business — over the internet, therefore — can be undone within 7 calendar days, counted from the contract date. With no reason, no penalty and no explanation required.
The day of the contract does not count, and the last day counts in full — this is how article 132 of the Brazilian Civil Code requires deadlines to be counted. Someone who subscribed on the 1st may withdraw until the end of the 8th.
How it is exercised
In your account there is a button that takes you to the purchase area of whoever received your money — Hotmart or Mercado Pago. That is where the refund is requested, because that is where the money is: this app never had it.
If the button is not there and you believe it should be, write to suporte@mercadosynesis.com.br with the email address of the account and the date of the payment. The window is counted from the date of payment, not from the date you wrote.
What happens
Access to the subscription content closes as soon as the refund is recorded by whoever charged you — that same day. Withdrawing from the purchase undoes the whole contract; it is different from canceling, which stops the renewal and leaves you reading until the end of the period you paid for.
Until that notice arrives, access stays open. This app does not close your access on its own before the money has come back — losing the reading and still being without the money would be the worst of both sides.
What you wrote in the internal forum, your calendar and the homilies stay open, as they always were.
THE MONEY DOES NOT COME BACK THROUGH THIS APP, because it never passed through it. The refund is made where the payment was made, by the same route — the card is refunded by the processor, and the timeframe is theirs, not ours.
If the refund has not shown up within two statements, write to suporte@mercadosynesis.com.br: it is a problem with whoever charges, and it gets solved with the receipt in hand.
Withdrawing and canceling are not the same thing
Canceling: the renewal stops, you keep reading until the end of the paid period, and the money does not come back. Available at any time.
Withdrawing: the contract is undone, access closes today, and the money comes back in full. Available only in the first 7 days.
If you are within the first 7 days and do not know which one you want, the one that returns money is withdrawing.
