Who is selling

CAMINHO is offered by Carlos Adriano Sales Fernandes, Brazilian taxpayer number (CPF) 00963797158, in Palmas/TO. The contact for any matter — question, defect, billing, withdrawal, personal data — is suporte@mercadosynesis.com.br.

There is no company behind this: it is one person. Whoever answers your email is the same person who writes the content of the app.

What the subscription opens

The course — the modules of the retreat in daily life —, the meditations, the anthology of the masters translated from the original, and Anamnesis, which connects what you wrote to what has already been written.

What is NOT charged for, and never will be: the homilies, open to anyone, with no account and no payment; your calendar and the reminders you set; your internal forum — the journal, the examen, the notes, the review of the week and the rereading; and your parish's schedule.

An expired subscription does not lock your own history outside. What you wrote stays yours and stays accessible, paid or not.

Price, billing and renewal

$7.90 per month, or $69.00 per year. The price charged is always the same one the screen showed before the click.

THE MONEY NEVER PASSES THROUGH THIS APP. The one who charges is the payment provider, on its own domain: Mercado Pago for whoever pays in reais, and Hotmart for whoever pays in dollars. Not one digit of your card touches this app — not to charge it, not to refund it, not to store it. What arrives here is a notice that the payment happened.

They are two different companies, and that matters when it comes to complaining: the chargeback, the duplicate receipt and the invoice are asked of whoever charged you — the same name that appears on your card statement.

The subscription renews by itself at the end of each period, for the same amount, until you cancel. Once the payment is confirmed, access opens by itself — there is no manual approval in between.

If a charge is declined, access does NOT close immediately: there are 7 days of grace, once, while the charge is retried. It is the time it takes to replace an expired card, not a debt that accumulates.

How to cancel

WHOEVER CHARGES IS WHOEVER CANCELS. In your account there is a button that takes you to the purchase area of whoever received your money — Hotmart or Mercado Pago — and that is where the cancellation happens, with no form and without having to explain why. This app moves no money and has no way to cancel a charge that never passed through it.

Until the cancellation is recorded there, nothing changes here: your access stays intact. Once it is recorded, this app receives the notice and adjusts by itself, on the right date, without your having to come back here.

CANCELING DOES NOT TAKE AWAY WHAT WAS PAID FOR. Someone who cancels on the 3rd keeps reading everything until the end of the period they paid for; what stops is the next renewal.

Seven-day withdrawal

You have 7 calendar days, counted from the contract date, to withdraw from the purchase with no reason and no penalty. This is article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, and it applies because the purchase was made outside a place of business.

The content belongs to whoever wrote it

The texts of the course, the meditations, the translations in the anthology and the homilies are the author's work. Subscribing gives you the right to read, reread, print for your own use and quote with attribution — not to republish, resell, distribute copies, or feed them to an automated system.

The works of the masters that Conversation reads are in the public domain, and what you read there is machine translation, stated as such before the text, with the original alongside.

What you write is yours

The internal forum is encrypted on your own device, with a password only you hold and that the server never sees. The author does not read your journal — not as a promise, but because he has no way to.

Losing that password means losing the text. There is no recovery, and there cannot be: a back door for you would be a back door for anyone.

You can take everything with you and you can erase everything, at any time, in your account. It is on the privacy page.

Scholarship

There are scholarships for seminarians and for anyone who cannot pay. It is not a favor and not an exception: it is written into this app's Rule. Write to suporte@mercadosynesis.com.br and say so, and that is all — there is no form and no proof of poverty.

What is not promised

The app can go offline, have defects and change shape. When that happens to paid content, the affected period is credited or refunded — write to suporte@mercadosynesis.com.br.

CAMINHO is not spiritual direction, is not personal accompaniment, and replaces neither confession, nor sacrament, nor health care. It is material for reading and for prayer.

Anamnesis and Conversation are programs. Conversation uses no language model at all and answers only by quoting what it has read; Anamnesis uses a Google model and can be wrong. Neither of them speaks in the name of the Church, and both present themselves as what they are.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in anything that affects what you contracted — price, what the subscription opens, how to cancel — notice arrives by email before it takes effect, and you may leave at no cost. Correcting a typo or tidying the wording takes effect immediately.

Governing law and venue

Brazilian law applies, and in particular the Consumer Protection Code. The venue is that of your own domicile, which is what the consumer law guarantees — and not that of the seller.
